Welcome! This site is dedicated to one of the greatest series of books, if not the greatest, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings (LOTR). If that isn't enough to interest you we will also have information on C.S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia series. This site is in the works, so please bear with us as we attempt to bring you the greatest Tolkien page on the net. As you can tell, this page has been re-modeled, and personally I think it looks alot better. Of course, you can Send Me suggestions, bugs, or anything else that might be a problem. This is a work in progress, so bookmark the site, and come back as much as you can. By the way, the "Other Links", on the top of the page, takes you to my free for all page which allows people to add their pages instantly. It's very good, and I hope it gets alot of sites to check it out. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 3 1999: I had a pop-up sitemap written in DHTML, it was really cool, but I could never get it to work with a table right so I got rid of it. Links to everything added and this site re-placed with the old one. By the way, all the other pages have not yet been converted, so they won't look like this page yet. They have a black background but that's about all that's different, and the links are probably a different color too. That's all for now! | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 4 1999:HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!! Not much is going to happen today, since it is the fourth, but I'm going to try and get a page up that lets you add your links auto-matically. In other words it will add it without having to wait for me to add it. One more thing about the image above. I'm going to get rid of the runes, because I think it looks crappy, and just have the rest of the image. You might notice that the image has a little face in it, a gollum if you will, it was totally and accident, but a good one, it looks cool. | July 5 1999:Updated the rest of pages to look like this one. I also added a new tracker at the bottom of the page. Below if a list of places people have visited my page from. I'd like to thank everybody who helped get this page to 1000+ visitors. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 6 1999:Added yesterday's updates hehehe. More places added below too. I don't know exactly what I'm going to add next, maybe pictures, games, or a place for people to send in riddles. Who knows? I'll think of something. More updates later on today. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 7 1999:Not much done today. I'm in Kentucky till Sunday and I can't download anything on this computer, so, I can't put much on the page. When I get home I'm going to try and get some more games up, a riddle section, maps, pictures, and anything else I can think of. I'm still trying to find a new server, not with any luck though. I'm really looking for something free, but has CGI access. If you get the chance, try and watch the new Weird Al video. It's hilarious, he makes fun of Star Wars to the tune of American Pie. | July 8 1999:Sorry about not updating today, I wasn't even near a computer till 3:30. Went to a flea market and got "The Complete Guide to Middle-Earth" for $1.00, I guess that's a good buy. I'll try and update something today, peace. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 11 1999:Sorry about not updating people. Lets see, the last update was on the 8, the 9 I was busy, the 10 we were on the road all day, and today I've felt like crap and have been in bed most of the day. No updates today, except adding another country and fixing the tables to work with IE5. The computer I was working on had IE4, everything seemed fine on it. Oh well. I bought 3 C.S. Lewis books for $1.75, and ended up having 2 of them already. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 14 1999:Sorry I haven't updated. I've still been feeling bad. I swear I'll add at least one thing today, maybe a new game or something. Anyways. This site has finally won an award!!!!!!!! Yippie!!!! Just scroll down to see it. Eventually I will be moving them all to an awards page, but I'll let everyone see it for awhile.
